Growth Hacking and Sales Experience

Global Growth Hacker Lindström

In 2022, I joined Lindström to help drive growth in their target countries.

I collaborated with global sales, market and product teams, identifying sales bottlenecks and initiating strategic growth projects in the local markets. I consulted local marketing teams on efficient marketing strategies for reaching their growth targets.

My role was focused on generating growth-hacking culture across the organization. I encouraged sales and marketing alignment through effective communication of common goals.

Growth Hacker
Treamer

In the beginning of 2021, I joined a staffing SaaS startup Treamer to help with their digital growth. I developed and executed a multi-channel digital marketing campaigns, increasing the amount of sales-ready leads and contributing to 40% in revenue growth.

I managed marketing campaigns through paid and organic channels, and used performance data to single out best performing methods. In close collaboration with sales, I developed a sales pipeline for transparent access to sales performance data and lead sources.

A large part of my success in Treamer was due to a strong sales enablement culture and a data-driven approach.

Growth Hacker
LiquidBlox

My first growth-hacking role was at LiquidBlox, a Finnish SaaS startup.

I focused on top-funnel activities to boost brand awareness and improve SEO. This included content creation, blog management, and extensive keyword research. I provided actionable SEO audits for LiquidBlox’ clients, helping a client reach the Top 10 in Google search results within a month of implementation.

After graduating in 2013, I began my career in sales, selling home internet subscriptions, cleaning services, and complex insurance solutions to small businesses. Although I didn’t find my passion in sales, this experience equipped me with efficient communication skills and had a great impact to my success in growth hacking.

Insurance advisor
OP Financial Group

In 2015, following a 6-month insurance and sales training, I started working as an insurance agent for one of the largest financial corporations in Finland.

I led customer acquisition through cold outreach and face-to-face meetings, consulting small businesses on tailored insurance solutions.

I also participated in B2B customer success campaigns, and used my problem-solving skills to ensure customer retention.

Education

Bachelor of Business Administration

I studied International Business to understand the business world and navigate my career path. In my second year, I participated in a Business Consulting module, working on real-life projects for local companies. I completed my practical training in Kuala Lumpur, focusing on marketing and organizing a seminar for hotel managers. I learned cold outreach, event planning, maintaining a customer database, and creating marketing materials. Inspired by the marketing field, I wrote my thesis on finding efficient marketing channels for a local art company.

Data Science certifications

After moving to US, I yet again had time to rethink my career path. Working in strategic and data-driven marketing roles had made me discover a true curiosity for data, and understand its power in growing a business.

I wanted to have better access to data, as well as drive deeper insights out of data. This led me to start exploring data science, and during my family leave I studied fundamentals and methodologies of data science and its’ basic tools and components. I chose Python as a programming language to master, because of its’ versatility and use in Marketing Analytics.

I am currently studying Python Basics for Data Analysis on DataQuest.
